Halloween No-Scare Weekend

Join us September 30 to October 2 & October 7 - 9, 2011 for a fun filled Halloween celebration that is geared to our youngest campers! Yogi Bear's best pal Booboo will be here too!

Friday

7:30pm at the Yogi Bear Pavilion - Family Fun Movie, Hocus Pocus

9:00pm at the Group Fire Ring - Marshmallow Roast. Bring your sticks, we'll bring the marshmallows!

Saturday

9:45 am at the Bear Den- Pledge of Allegiance with the Bears

10am at the Recreation Center - Kids Crafts (Free)

11 pm at the Recreation Center - Pumpkin Painting or Ceramics ($Fee based on pumpkin size or ceramic item chosen. ($2-$10)

12pm at the Yogi Bear Pavilion - Halloween Scavenger Hunt (Free)

2 - 4pm at the Yogi Bear Pavilion - Halloween Games including Character Charades, Guess the Guts, & Pin the Stem on the Pumpkin (Free), Sandy Candy ($2-$3 ), & Tye Dye Crafts ($3-$7)

4:30pm at the Yogi Bear Pavilion - Costume Contests. Prizes given for Scariest, Cutest, Most Original, and Best Pet Costume.

5:30pm throughout the Park - Trick 'r' Treating (Don't forget your candy!)

7:30pm at the Yogi Bear Pavilion - Glow Hey Ride! Glow sticks for sale the Ranger Station.

8:30pm at the Ranger Station - Flashlight Bone Hunt (Free)

Site Decoration Contest - Vote for your favorite site by ballot. Prize will be awarded at the site. Ballot box on front porch of the Ranger Station. A sign at the site will announce the winner.

Sunday

9am at the Recreation Center - Breakfast with the Bear! Sign up in advance at the Ranger Station. Breakfast of three pancakes, sausage patty, juice, tea, & coffee for $4.

9:45am at the Bear Den - Pledge of Allegiance with the Bears

10am at the Recreation Center - Coloring and Cartoons

*Guests must stop at the Ranger Station and pay the park entrance fee of $3 per person. If your guests wish to participate in Park Activities, the prices are listed above. Any unregistered guests will be asked to leave. Guests may not bring pets or golf carts into the park. No Exceptions.
